I answered the most popularly asked questions about past-life regression in my blogpost recently and gave you the newest testimonial from Katie in Australia about her experience with it.
Here are the next set of most frequently asked questions!
Where can you find a therapist that does past-life regression?
This can be somewhat tricky. There are actually very few licensed therapists that do past-life regression depending on the state you live in.
I would recommend that you look into the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies at http://www.iarrt.org/, which I am a member of or check into the International Board of Regression Therapy at http://www.ibrt.org. Both organizations list certified Past Life Regression Therapists by name and state.
Call one of these therapists that live close to you and interview them on the phone. As a professional they’re used to explaining their credentials, how long they have been practicing, their certification and who they were trained with. You can also inquire about their methodology, fees for service, time requirements and number of sessions they recommend depending on your needs.
Use your intuition and make an appointment if you feel comfortable with them. You will do your best work with that person.
If there is not a therapist that lives close by, consider making a day trip or even making it part of a vacation to visit them. I have clients that will book me 3 to 6 months in advance when they make vacation plans to come to Orlando. We book 2 to 3 sessions, each three hours in length during the week they are here to accomplish what they’re looking for. For some it may be only take one three-hour session in a day trip. Hotel accommodations are nearby and easy to access.
There are also trained therapists that facilitate past-life regression and between-lives regression via Skype and by phone. I do this as well. Sending an email or calling the therapist will begin your journey!
I’m afraid that I’ll say something that might embarrass me during hypnosis, and I wonder if I’ll feel uncomfortable giving up my control?
Please remember that you ARE in control at all times. Hypnosis is simply self-hypnosis. I become the guide to help you access your subconscious and reconnect you with your past memories. You may bring the session to an end at any time by opening your eyes. You can read more about the process of hypnotherapy on my website.
Will I discover that I’ve been an animal in a past life?
I have been facilitating past-life regression since 1991, and I’ve never had a client speak of being a dog or any other animal. There isn’t any literature to substantiate this either. The Buddhists state that once you reach the human form the person will never move back to lower life form.
Can I remember my past life without being hypnotized?
Some people have had spontaneous recall that I spoke about earlier as “deja vue,” or they may have accessed snippets of it in meditation or in their dreams. Hypnosis is the common technique to use in accessing the information of a past life that is stored in your subconscious. This allows you to retrieve the information from your Akashic records about past, parallel or future lives.
Is it common to change sex in past lives?
Yes, it is very common for clients to find lifetimes as either a male or a female. However, your karmic lesson that needs to be learned will present itself. Literature does suggest that through all your past lives you are predominantly one sex. It is said that about 75 percent of your lives are in that same sex. Changing your sex in one lifetime can present some difficulty in homosexual or sexual areas in a present lifetime.
There are many more questions that people ask about the process of past-life regression, but these were the most frequently asked. If you have another question, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll be glad to answer you!
