The forest of trees stands before you. It is magnificent in appearance yet gently comforting. The deepened greens, yellows, and reds of their leaves signify where each one is at in its own place. The smaller saplings have a vibrant lighter green appearance while the larger oaks spread their limbs to shield them from nature’s elements. Its leaves that haven’t been exposed to the harsher winds or weather remain intact, while those on the outer branches have torn or look barren from so much loss.
It is a reflection of life that we can study and take note of in our own lives. The more harshness souls are exposed to, the more you see the wear and tear of their journey. The more protected souls are, the more resilient they become. They are able to bounce back more quickly and easily from a tough day.
The forest teaches us so many lessons. But the lesson to be learned this day is one of surrounding all with the strength and power for those that are younger, struggling, or frailer. We lend our wisdom and strength to those who are tired or have struggled on their path. By sharing our strengths and compassion for all, we are helping to create a community of strong souls. When standing alongside of their sister and their brother, these souls will be able to accomplish miracles!
Who is the latest person you have helped with your mantle of strength?
