Peace and tranquility can be found by measuring the amount of words and phrases you use that create harmony for yourself and others. As you observe how often you are complimentary to others in a genuine way, how much you encourage others to do their finest work, and how often you are simply kind to others; you will find a direct connection for you finding peace and tranquility in your own life.
The interesting part of this is the fact that you are really doing it for others. When you are rewarded by their smiles, their warmth, a simple touch of their hand on your back, or a warm hug, it makes you feel more at peace. You really are doing Spirit’s work here, but it is being done with the intention of just creating an environment of warmth, nurturance, support, love, and a genuine acknowledgement of the other person’s soul.
By not focusing on yourself and actually focusing on others, you will end up being more at peace and harmony in your own soul than you ever had before. Life can be so ironic! When we stop focusing solely on ourselves, we are actually able to create a shift in ourselves to peace.
