The topic for today that came to me in meditation is one of love and light. Why is that expression used so frequently by lightworkers? You might not know what a lightworker is. Goggle has a few definitions. One is “A person driven and motivated to do work which makes the world a better place, improves peoples’ lives, and/or elevates people to a higher level of consciousness.” Another definition is “those who seek the truth on their spiritual journey toward Enlightenment. They feel the urge to heal others and a deep need to resolve the world’s problems. They very often feel compelled to write, teach, or counsel others; and know without a doubt that they are here for a higher purpose.” My personal definition is that it is someone who helps others feel the presence of spirit and be in the light.
If you think about my definition, then it makes complete sense why lightworkers use the expression love and light. Being in the presence of spirit is the essence of pure love. When the purity of love emanates from your body, mind, and soul then light flows from every cell of your being.
I remember that I worked with a holistic healer about 15 years ago. She was an intuitive healer from Arizona and called herself a lightworker. I had contacted her for several reasons. My mother had recently died and my body was showing great signs of stress between my grieving, large client load at work, having three teenage children in the house, and everything else that flows with life. I had developed large fibroids in my uterus that were extremely painful. I always try every holistic remedy out there before I follow advice for surgery. I’m diverting a bit, but the interesting thing I always remember about Paquel is that her signature on letters and email was always… love and light.
I had always signed my letters, love or love you but never love and light! It seemed somewhat way out there, very new age, and even a little kooky!!
Flash forward 15 years where I have become an intuitive myself, particularly in the past three years, I am absolutely driven to follow the messages given to me to become a lightworker and my company New Pathway To Healing was born. My only signature as many of you know from me is “much love and light.”
I have been in the presence of spirit, and I have seen the light. The only thing I would wish for you is the same.
Much love and light to all my dear friends! What do you think about the expression “love and light?”
