What is the literal meaning of the word “trust?” Webster defines it in several ways: “Confidence in and reliance on good qualities, especially, fairness, truth, honor or ability; responsibility for taking good care of somebody or something; the position of somebody who is expected by others to behave responsibly or honorably; somebody who or something that people place confidence or faith in, and then; hopeful reliance on what will happen in the future.”
My simple definition of trust is that it means to BELIEVE that all is as it needs to be. When people are able to trust in this premise then the typical hardships that present themselves are handled very differently. There is so much less angst and anxiety that goes hand in hand with dealing with whatever problem presents itself.
The words believe, faith and trust become synonyms in my vocabulary. One can become easily interchanged for another. It is the very rock that so many people take comfort in as they go through life working on soul lessons. What can seem so insurmountable becomes recognized as the simple lesson it is meant to serve. You have opportunity after opportunity to progress down the road to Damascus. You have faith in your journey that all is as it needs to be.
Do you trust? Do you have faith in your journey? Do you BELIEVE that all is as it needs to be for your soul to grow and evolve in this lifetime?
